Nannette has also recently been contracted to support famed holistic healer, Queen Afua, to expand her work into Ghana and the African continent. Queen Afua has worked with the likes of Jada Pinkett-Smith, Erykah Badu and Stevie Wonder.
Nannette is also the Co-Founder of a 501(c)3 Non-profit, Converge 4 Africa. Converge 4 Africa’s mission is to provide comprehensive support, resources and solutions to educate, empower, equip, mentor, support and encourage African youth, ages 35 years and under, to become economically self-sufficient, through workforce and business capacity development.
Converge 4 Africa had their 1st annual conference, in Rwanda, in November 2024- focused on agriculture and agribusiness-where 14 African countries were represented. Nannette also mentors youth all over the African diaspora and across the continent.
Nannette is also the creator of the Connect the Dots Networking Extravaganza. This is an event where country-local professionals and African diasporans meet and get to know who is all in the room, for great networking opportunities; along with panels covering topics like access to financing, business opportunities in Ghana, etc. This event is held during the famous December in Ghana season, throughout Ghana. This event has also been hosted in Rwanda and South Africa, and throughout the US.
