m Bartels is Founder and CEO of Excell Consulting GH and Excell Branding Consult, where she brings to bear immense experience from the Branding, Consulting, Corporate Training, Protocol and Diplomacy, Executive Coaching, PR and Marketing fields. Her expertise spans over three decades in various communication capacities and international marketing fields from management to senior director level.
Em is also Founder and Executive Director of GPA Awards International Ltd, a professional development organisation that supports Executives through creativity, innovation and excellence. The GPA Awards commenced as a small Awards programme in the UK, targeting Ghanaian professionals and entrepreneurs and grew to become the go-to annual Awards for the black community in the UK and Diaspora. The GPA Awards attracted mainstream organisations like Coca Cola Africa, Barclays Bank UK, Ford Motor Company, Cadbury Schweppes, among others, UK top notch personalities and collaborated with several key Associations in Ghana.
Em is a Certified Diplomatic and Commercial Protocol practitioner, an expert in Digital Diplomacy and Global Citizenship and Change management for Diplomatic Practitioner. She holds a Certificate in International Relations from Cambridge University (Homerton College), an MBA from HULT International Business School, UK and a degree in Economics and Law from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology – Ghana, and is a Certified Counselor from the UK.
In addition, Em is a Speaker at the World Protocol Conference, Speaker and Trainer at Cambridge University Professional Development Programme and a Speaker at the AfriProtocol Conference. Em has recently been appointed as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Wealth Masters Group UK; a world class leader in business advisory and capacity development.
